Summer in Bulgaria: Fashion Haul!

Hello Loves and happy Monday!

Sorry for skipping two weeks, but I didn’t have enough of time before I left for my holidays to schedule blog posts. But I’m back! Happy, rested and tanned! Me and my boyfriend went for a week to Bulgaria to sunny beach. It was amazing! If you’d like me to make another post on our trip leave a comment below, tweet me or leave a comment on my instagram.

This week I’d like to share with you all my newest clothing purchases I made for my trip. I honestly can say that all of those pieces are so comfortable and affordable too!

Let’s start form the essentials for a beach vacation: swimming suits! This cute bikini is from H&M and it’s comfortable and something really feminine that I loved to wear it at the beach or by the pool. Bra also have removable straps. I din’t use them, so I also didn’t include them on a photo.

Second, black one-piece is from Zara. I never thought I’d find there actual swimsuit. I saw it by accident and it was exact design I was looking for earlier. It feels incredibly comfortable and very sexy on. Dries very fast! Can we also talk about this adorable ruffle?!

I also was looking for a nice cover up just to throw on while going from pool to get a drink and not feel too exposed wearing only a bikini. I found this one and fell in love! It’s from asos and the colour is just amazing! I feel like a sexy goddess wearing it! Its super light material is flowing on the wind. What else do you need right?

IMG_4660

This bra from H&M is surprisingly well cut and it looks bomb on! It’s super trendy right now because of its stripes going opposite ways on the upper boob part and I think I need to get the same one in black too! I wear it all the time!

IMG_4669

I couldn’t help myself and not purchase this top. I thought I would wear it once or twice, beacuse it’s so sheer it’s hard to find a right occasion (beside a hot summer night) to wear it on its own. I wore it without any bra and actually nobody could see anything. It’s really flirty and cute with a great coverage as well. Not only for super small boobs! I am 34C or 70D if anybody wonders. Depends on the store and model. So I would say I’m medium small and it worked for me.

These high waisted culottes, also from H&M (not available anymore, but similar here), are perfect to pair with some black tiny top and some heels. They’re quite out there but such a versatile and still neutral statement piece!

Let’s go to accesories. I got this corset form Zara (not available in black, but the same one in white is here) and love to wear it to add some edge to my simple outfits. It looks really cool to use as a belt with super oversized shirt (could be your boyfriend’s :P) that you’ll make to a dress and maybe pair it with some slip ons!

I also went for some shoe hunting and got these super comfortable sliders, mules and flat sandals! Black ones are form H&M, red mules from Zara (not available anymore, but similar here) and leopard printed sandals are from Topshop.

1000 Followers Q&A

Hello loves!

Sorry for missing two Mondays, but I didn’t have enough of time before I left for my holidays to schedule blog posts. But I’m back! Happy, rested and tanned! Because of that I post exceptionally today.

I collected all your questions from the thank you post after hitting a huge milestone! 1000 followers (now actually already 1228)! Thank you so much! ❤

How often did you post when you started the blog and what kept you motivated?

First I posted once per week. Different days. I tried to see which day suits me the best and is the most comfortable for me to post on. I chose to post on Mondays. Then I tried to post twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays), which with my academy and work schedule was super hard so I switched back to posting only on Mondays.

What kept me motivated I think was that I truly enjoy to do it, so it was simply a getaway from work/home stuff.

How did you get into blogging? And what are you aspirations for the future? (Blogging wise or personal)

I was looking for another getaway beside making art and music from everyday life. I was very, very hesitant to start my blog. Whom for I’ll be doing it? Will people like to read it? I finally decided to do it for myself and I didn’t want anyone to know about it. Till today nobody from my family and friends knows that I have a blog. I never imagined my blog will be taken so well by you loves. I can’t believe you really enjoy it! I’m very grateful.

Aspirations? Let’s see when it will all take me. I’m gonna keep doing what I love and write more post, trying to still improving in every aspect of blogging. Hopefully I’ll make myself do more fashion/outfits posts and maybe some makeup tutorials that will include more me in pictures. It’s just I’m too camera shy. I have a lot of insecurities and it’s really hard for me. But let’s say that that is my goal for now. 🙂

If you could go anywhere for a dream vacation, where would you go?

New York or Aruba!

Pizza or pasta?

Pasta!

What is your favourite scent?

I love Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum the most in the world! It’s 100% my scent. I use them everyday for a good 7 years! I could say it’s my signature scent now. Haha. But I have to admit recently I fell in love with a Bombshell Eau de Parfum from Victoria’s Secret. I just got a bottle and it smells like summer! Love it!

If you were to get a tattoo, what would it be?

I already have a tattoo! I wrote a blog post about the whole story of me getting it. Although I want a second one already! Definitely it will be something about NYC. I was thinking just about tiny letters.

Who is your celebrity style inspiration?

I have a lot! I love Gigi Hadid and bloggers Samantha Maria and my girl Maffashion.

If you were a superhero, what would your name and power be?

Name? Idk! haha, but my power will definitely be teleporting!

June Favorites! Fashion, Jewellery & Makeup Items

Hello Loves! Hope you have a great Monday!

This month favourites include one fashion item, two makeup and one skincare product and one new everyday use jewellery piece!

Let’s start with makeup, shall we?

fullsizeoutput_78

Guys, how gorgeous is this colour??? I think I don’t need to explain why iconic Twig Mac Lipstick is in my favourites! I never owned a Mac lipstick before I got this one last month. I know! So embarrassing! Shame on me! Well, all I can say is that now I perfectly understand why this colour and formula of Mac lipsticks in general is favourite of so many beauty addicts! You should definitely try it yourself someday! They have a shade for everyone. It’s affordable ($17) and you get a really high quality product. Two thumbs up for this one!

All about this wonderful Bourjois 123 Perfect CC cream you can read here, in my recent review. So let’s go straight to iconic skincare product – Bio-Oil. I could write a very long review about how great it is, but I’ll keep it short and sweet this time. It really helped my skin to be moisturized for the whole day more than any other cream moisturizer did. My skin usually starts to get really dry at the middle of the day. And that time of the day while using cream moisturiser my makeup was looking worse. You could notice my super dry undereyes and creasing concealer. Since I started to use Bio-Oil my makeup looks very natural for the whole day! That means a win for me! All the products I put on my face blend so damb well I honestly couldnt believe it! I also feel like it evened out my skin a bit. I have less hyper pigmentation for sure!

fullsizeoutput_79

This super cute top I got on Zara’s last sale. (Sorry Loves but I couldn’t find it online. I believe it sold out) It’s a dark blue, crochet top with a corset like detail on front. I love this top and have been wearing it a lot this past month!

fullsizeoutput_77

Last but not least is that AMAZING ring my wonderful boyfriend got me! How gorgeous it is???? I just can’t! I know it looks a LOT like engagement ring (we’re not engaged!) but I don’t care! I wear it on my right hand’s 4th finger. It’s funny, because I was never a big fan of silver, but this ring I loved from the first moment I saw it. I guess, I like silver since it sparkles like unicorn tears, right? haha! It’s from Pandora if you want to get it yourself! For all my everyday jewellery collection click here.

Sephora Face Masks review

Hi Loves and happy Monday!

For today’s post I prepared a review of two Sephora Masks. One is a full face rose mask and second one is just a charcoal nose strip.

On Saturday I decided to pumper myself and use the full face rose mask ($6). It is supposed to brighten and moisturize your skin. I kept it on, as it said on the packaging, for 15 mins and have to say the whole process was really relaxing and felt very luxurious (I’m not used to do masks often as you can tell). After those 15 minutes I took it off and instantly felt refreshed. I massaged any leftovers of the mask into my skin. Honestly, I could feel that mask helped me with moisturizing my face more than I could see it. So visually I didn’t see much difference. Although my skin felt great! Did it brighten my complexion? I don’t think so. If so, then very slightly.

fullsizeoutput_69

The nose strip I used on my boyfriend because he was asking me if I have this super famous black peel off mask, which I didn’t. I offered him this Sephora one and he was quite pleased with the result. Before using it don’t forget to read the instructions! I didn’t pay attention that nose, beside being clean, should also be damp. But after all, with a little help of wet towel, it got stuck to my love’s nose and worked as promised. Results were ok, without revelation. I think you could find something better for that price ($3).

Will I use this again? The nose strip – I don’t think that I’ll bother with it. The rose face mask – Maybe yes, before important event or just to pamper and spoil myself a little bit!

Did you use some of Sephora masks? Which ones? Did you like them or not? Share below! I’d love to hear about your masks experiences!

P.S. Keep your eyes peeled on the next post! It will be my June favourites!

Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream – Review

Hello Loves! Hope you have a great Monday!

For this week’s post I decided to do a review of Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream which I’ve recently purchased. And guys…! I LOVE it!

In a few posts back I was raving about Garnier BB cream and how perfect it was for my super pale complexion. I still love it though! The thing is I’m leaving with my bae for holidays July 16th to Bulgaria and since I’m so pale and easily get a sun burn (I never get tanned, always red 😭)  my boyfriend suggested that maybe I should go to solarium few times before our trip. And so I did (soon I’ll make a post about the whole experience being first time in solarium). Now I’m way darker than I used to be (read: just not so pale anymore). Any foundation/bb cream which back then was too dark for me (that’s why I switched for Garnier BB cream in shade extra light)  now is too light!

For a few days I didn’t wear any makeup but I didn’t feel comfortable enough to keep it that way. First I wanted to go to Sephora and buy a good quality bb cream from Nars or Clinique. Then I thought I don’t know how long I’ll stay that tanned and if I decide to keep it after vacation with trips to solarium or fake tanner. I decided to not spend that much money and look for a cheaper option. So I went to my drugstore to look for something that will fit my current skin tone. I was going to pick something from L’oréal but I think they just had a sale because the stand was a mess and they didn’t have a lot of products. Then I walked up to Borjois and Rimmel stands. In both I found bb creams I liked but couldn’t decide between them. I checked reviews on the internet and definite winner was Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream.

It’s not too expensive (costs around $13), it was on sale for half price so without thinking I picked it up! I chose shade 32 light beige and it matches my skin tone perfectly! I haven’t found any other foundation/cc/bb cream to match me this good! I was amazed! The only bad thing is that it is only available (at least where I bought it) in 4 shades. Some are with pink some with yellow undertones. It is definitely not enough colors for everyone. The cc cream itself is very liquid and you don’t need much to cover your face, so you have to be careful with that. I saw that it looks best applied with BeautyBlender or other makeup sponge. With fingers it looks a little bit too heavy for me. It has very good and natural coverage. I use BioOil as a moisturizer and it leaves me with a very dewy, gorgeous and glowing skin. Sometimes I like to powder my T zone. And what is super important it stays on face way longer than any bb or cc cream I’ve tried! It’s my holy grail now!

Let me know if you have used it! Do you like it or not so much? Will you try it?

Sharing with You: My Music

Hello Loves and happy Monday!

Today I wanted to share with you something very special to me. My music. I’m a self-taught guitar player. I started to learn guitar at early years of my Academy, which would be around 4 years ago. Music gives me different opportunity, than painting, to express myself artistically. Songs usually come to me the moment I don’t even know about. They just fly out of me. This is the most satisfying and freeing feeling I ever had. I’ve been documenting my emotional growth and rewrite it in notes. Usually I write sad songs as I feel the need to tell sad stories. All of the songs are written  and composed by me. I’ve published my first album few years back. It is called “subtitles”, which meant those 6 songs were like “subtitles to my life”, description of my emotions.

Now, after a long break, I’ve been coming up with my second album. It doesn’t have name yet. I’m still working on it. It will have 5 songs in total and this is one of them.

Golden Gate is about love from a first sight. Love from only one perspective. Blind and kind of toxic love that puts the other person on the pedestal, when you’re ready to do anything for that them, but he/she doesn’t feel the same.  It was one of the mistakes I made while the most lonely and miserable time of my life.

What do you think? Share with me your opinions and thoughts! Do you play on any instruments and/or write music? Let me know!

xx, Olita
