My Loves! This Monday is very, very special because I’m so proud and happy to announce that we’re already hit 2000 “Olita family members”! Currently 2040 and counting! 

I’m so grateful for your support and so happy that you enjoy the content I post here! I’m very thankful and never imagined that my following base will grow so fast! I started this blog in April 2017 and celebrated first thousand  on July this year! Now it’s November and there are already 2000 wonderful souls reading my posts! Thank you! Thank you 2000 times!

OCTOBER FAVORITES fashion items

Hello Loves and happy Monday!

It was quite a while since I did my monthly favorites and I’m very happy to do so today! This November I’m gonna focus only on fashion items that I loved and wore threw so many days of October!

Let’s start form the bottom with shoes!

Aren’t they gorgeous??! Beside being cute they’re VERY comfortable! They’re also such a good statement piece and go amazingly well with any kind of dress or pants. My favorite way to style them is to pair them with a very girly dress or carrot fit cropped pants and a simple tee (for example items below).

Next let’s see what kind of pants I had on mind that will perfectly suit the shoes! So here they are:

Also from the same store those pants are super comfy and look beautiful on anyone. They’re cut off just above the ankle and being quite short myself I was afraid they won’t be flattering, but as I tried them on I was pleasantly surprised! I really like that grey trendy pattern as well, they suit everything!

Well… Surprise, surprise! This Friends tee is also from Stradivarius! As soon as I saw it I just had to have it! Put it in my basket and there was no way back! Just love this one. Why?

I left the las one for the last. I love this jumper to death and wore it too many times already, but I shouldn’t care that much about repeating outfits, right? Right! I also negotiated a very good deal on it and having huge social anxiety as I do it just reminds me of that proud moment and being even more special jumper.

This week I wanted to share with you something different than usual which are my favorite tv shows! I’m a huge movie nerd (in my 25th year old life I’ve seen probably around 2000 movies) and what comes with it I enjoy also various tv shows. I love everything that comes with the whole cinema industry and movie making. I have to say I’m very picky which everything I like or give a good rating too, but all of these are solid 10 out of 10 for me.

MY TOP 4 FOUNDATIONS

I’m very excited about sharing with you my favourite foundations, because I came a long way of trying so many of them to finally still coming back to those 4 particular products. I’m sure some of you still struggle to find your fave and I hope this post maybe will help you with finding the one!

My skin and I came a very long way of struggling through full of acne, red, oily teenage face and very dry complexion to mixed and sensitive. Throughout that journey I had my favorites for every condition my skin was in. Now I found the perfect 4 for the skin I have today and I’d like to share them with you!

I find those products are perfect for my skin today. My skin is usually quite dry and I need to take a very good care about moisturising it all the time. It’s also quite sensitive and gets oily in my T zone (specially nose area) throughout the day. The oiliness it’s not my biggest problem which can be easily eliminated by using a tiny bit of powder, by special oil absorbing tissues or for bigger events setting spray. Since I have few ways to win the oiliness my priority in picking good foundation is to make sure it won’t dry out my skin. I hate foundations that exaggerate my dried little skins even after moisturising the area. I cant’ stand when the make up looks cakey on my skin either so I usually go for light/medium coverage and then just treat my dark circles and some stronger discolourations or pimples with concealer. Although probably you still can see some of my imperfections, with this kind of coverage I feel more fresh, more confident and more natural.

MAC Studio Face and Body Foundation Nowadays, definitely my number one! I was quite sceptic while buying this foundation, because of its very light coverage. What I’ve learnt, after watching few YouTube tutorials on applying it, the secret is in warming it up in your hands before applying it. This way it has more coverage and sticks better to the skin. It’s very buildable without the mask effect. It’s just everything I wished for! It looks like my skin but way better! I don’t need to use much concealer after applying it and it definitely doesn’t leave my skin dry but gives it a gorgeous satin glow! I highly recommend to anyone with a similar skin type to mine and who likes super natural, light to medium coverage with no makeup effect! It looks bomb!

Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 25 is everything if you’re looking for this perfect photoshopped look with a satin/matte finish. Daily I use it as concealer (after my MAC foundation) and a little goes a long way! Used as foundation it never let me down on the days when I want to look flawless without heavy coverage. It’s also buildable and blends very well. Smells heavenly and it feels like a touch of luxury to your face.

FALL FASHION: 3 AUTUMNAL OUTFIT IDEAS

🍋 Lemonade Diet (Master Cleanse) & How I Lost 8 Pounds in a Week! 

Hello my loves and happy Monday!

I’m sure some of you have heard about this famous Master Cleanse aka Lemonade Diet. To explain it fast and easy it’s a 7-10 day cleanse during which you drink only lemonade made with water, lemmons (duh!), maple syrup (grade B) and pinch of cayenne pepper.

It is very popular type of a detox among many celebrities like Beyoncé herself! You can read all about the cleanse HERE.  Through the whole process I found this site very helpful. It’s full of information and tips on how to make it more pleasant. If you’re curios about the actual strict “rules” of the cleanse check it out!

Let’s get started!

edit: I’m writing this post on my 9th day of the cleanse. I’m going to do it for 1 day more to finish with full 10 days. I’ll update you with the last days progress when I’ll be done! 

Taste of lemonade itself was good, which surprised me. Somehow I’m still not bored of it even though it was my only meal for the whole 9 days (and will be for one more). I have to say that 3-4 first days were the worst and then I felt most hungry. From the other hand I was loosing weight fast (my body got leaner and looking how it’s supposed to, if it makes sense haha) and didn’t feel bad or sick so that kept me going. Later it got easier and easier. For starting your cleanse I wouldn’t recommend to plan anything major. The most convenient time to start in my opinion, is weekend or your time off work/school. You never know how drastically your body can react for this kind of detox (if you haven’t done it before). Also very important part is to get good quality maple syrup. It has to be grade B, because it’s not as much filtered as usual syrup for our pancakes, therefore it has more nutrients and vitamins to give you energy and bring you needed daily dose of calories. Since some time manufacturers changed the terminology for syrup’s “grade” and now every one is a Grade A. Image below will help you find the right one:

They say that master cleanse’s main job and purpose is to detox your body and get rid of not needed junk. Weight loss is just a side effect. Well guys, I have to tell you that I did it mainly because of its side effect. Haha! Well… maybe not in 100% because I ate very bad before this diet and felt the need to go back on track with healthy eating. On a day 6 I got so obsessed with healthy food and excited about eating again I bought vegan cook book and many kitchen accessories, I watched like a million youtube videos tutorials and recipes… and guys, I’m ready to eat! And yes, I was vegetarian and now as I’m gonna ease out of this diet I want to switch for a veganism. Not too strict, as I’m just starting though. I did it a year ago for a few months and I didn’t feel good, but I think I was lacking of imagination for the recipes and I got lazy very fast.

I’m sure most of you after reading all of this information is quite curious about my weight loss during those 9 days. I weighted myself each morning right after waking up. I started with the weight of 54,7 kg (120 lbs) on day one.

Day 1 – 54,7 kg (120 lbs)

Day 2 – 53,1 kg (117 lbs)

Day 3 – 52,4 kg (115.5 lbs)

Day 4 – 51,8 kg (114 lbs)

Day 5 – 51,6 kg (113.7 lbs)

Day 6 – 51,5 kg (113.5 lbs)

Day 7 – 51,2 kg (112.9 lbs)

Day 8 – 50,9 kg (112 lbs)

Day 9 – 51,1 kg (112.5 lbs) (I’m starting my period in a few days so I assume it’s just water, even though my belly is flat and I look way better than on day 7)

To sum up, I’m so excited about cooking and eating healthy again and what’s most important for me I lost weight and I can see it and finally I’m happy with my body! I feel so light and that I will look good in all my clothes! I’m also very happy I’m gonna finish soon! haha! I’m so glad I did it and definitely gonna do it again next year!
