Hello Loves and happy Monday!
This month, since it’s a special month when we celebrate Valentine’s Day I decided to dedicate whole February to love. Doesn’t matter if you’re in happy relationship or you’re single and proud atm, those four posts will be for everyone. Because who doesn’t like love? ❤
Every week I’ll also give you one love fact about me. Leave your in the comments!
This week I’d like to start with sharing with you the theory of 5 love languages. Some of you probably have heard about it already, but if you have no idea what I’m talking about, here’s the explanation:
“The Five Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate is a 1995 book by Gary Chapman. It outlines five ways to express and experience love that Chapman calls “love languages”: receiving gifts, quality time, words of affirmation, acts of service (devotion), and physical touch.”
They say it can really improve the communication in your relationships if you find and understand each other’s love languages (your bae’s, mum’s, dad’s, sister’s brother’s etc).
HERE you can take a quiz and find out your love language! The 5 Love Languages® profile will give you a thorough analysis of your emotional communication preference. It will single out your primary love language, what it means, and how you can use it to connect with your loved one with intimacy and fulfilment. Let’s get to it!
My love language is quality time:
In the vernacular of Quality Time, nothing says, “I love you,” like full, undivided attention. Being there for this type of person is critical, but really being there – with the TV off, fork and knife down, and all chores and tasks on standby – makes your significant other feel truly special and loved. Distractions, postponed dates, or the failure to listen can be especially hurtful. Quality Time also means sharing quality conversation and quality activities.
What’s yours? Let me know in the comments!
Love fact about me: I had a few crushes but I’ve truly fallen in love when I was 23.
