Upgrade your everyday outfit with those few simple items!

Some days I feel like going for that “model off duty” look. Just make everyday outfit to look more stylish and cool. What I’ve noticed is you don’t need expensive designer clothes to achieve that. What you actually need is everything you already have in your closet! A few, or even one, of those accessories will elevate simple outfit in no time! So let’s save some money, bring that inside model of ours out and go look stylish af!

SUNGLASSES

1

Actually I think no commentary is necessary to describe this item. Everyone already knows how easy it’s to put on some shades and instantly feel like a celebrity. They bring more symmetry to our faces, instantly making us look more attractive (from the scientific point of view) and so so stylish! If you ususally use make up, but overslept and need to go out asap sunglusses are a great friend and disgise for those dark circles!

EARRINGS

Nowadays, I’m obsessed with statement earrings! The bigger the better! I feel like they add a lot of elegance to an outfit and I often like to pair them with a simple tee.

BAGS

3

In my opinion the funkier, more detailed and colorful the better! It can be such a great statement to very simple outfit. That kind of bag puts it together without any effort. Imagine monochromatic outfit (I love dressing all white these days and for spring/summer season my fav set is white culottes and white graphic tee) and a pop of bright colour or interesting pattern on a bag! Just gorgeous!

HEELS

5

It doesn’t matter what you’re wearing, heels will always look good with it. I don’t wear them on daily basis, only when I know I won’t walk a lot that day, but when I do I feel amazing! Feminine, sexy and so powerful! For the ladies like me whose first everyday shoe choice is not a pair of stilettos you can find any other heeled shoes that goes with your outfit even if it’s just a 1,5 inch (3.81 cm) chunky heel. I promise it will change up the game!

4

I also go for the quality over quantity when it comes to my buying shoes. Having just a few pairs of very nice, classic and comfortable heels (and flats) is surely enough to complete any outfit and you can be sure they will last you for ages!

BOLD LIP

2

Bold lipstick will add that taste of sophistication to any piece of clothing! My go to is red smashbox matte liquid lipstick, but there is so many other lip products to choose from! If you feel a little bit too shy to use one of those brave/”in yo face” colors try dark nudes tones, they’re so classy and super trendy now!

I hope this post brings you some inspiration how to upgrade your weekday outfits! Let me know which accessory/product is your favourite to use or try!

ORIGINS GinZing™ Peel-Off Mask – Sephora Birthday Haul

Loves, this “Sephora bd haul” series I’d like to dedicate to all the stuff I recently got in Sephora as a gift for myself. As my birthday is quickly approaching I wanted to treat myself and let myself a little loose in the make up and skincare wonderland. In each post I’ll review one of the products I got.

Let’s start with the fact I’ve had never used any of the origins products, but always wanted to try. I stood in front of all Origins goodness put on Sephora shelves searching for the perfect cosmetic to try and hoping my skin will enjoy it. Of course after 10 seconds of me looking around the shelf, Sephora employee approached me and recommended the Origins GinZing™ Peel-Off Mask to Refine and Refresh. I honestly didn’t know what kind of product I wanted to take home but I was leaning to their “bestseller” – moisturising mask. She said she knows better one, from Korres (read my review here) which I also purchased that day.

So I decided to give that Origins peel-off mask a try. Next day I put it on my face – little by little because it dries so quickly! I left even layer all over my face (as they wrote on the packaging is the best) and waited 20 minutes until it’ll dry. When I was applying its strong smell hit me pretty hard and my eyes got watered. I read the list of ingredients and there is a lot and lot of alcohol, which gave me a lesson to always get familiar with ingredients before purchasing anything (I wouldn’t have bought it if I knew how much alcohol it has). I have mixed skin but also quite sensitive therefore I’m not gonna use this mask pretty often. On the bright side though, after I peeled it off, my skin felt extremely fresh, pleasantly tightened and what was most important for me the imperfections seamed way smaller, redness disappeared and my complexion was so bright and beautiful!

Would I recommend it? If you don’t mind so much alcohol ingredients and you don’t have dry or sensitive skin, yes. But would I purchased it again for myself? I don’t think so… I’ll definitely finish this one, but then go for something different. I just feel like my skin is too dry and sensitive for this.

What is your favourite Origins product? I need recommendations 🙂

Sephora blush- Sephora Birthday Haul

Loves, this “Sephora bd haul” series I’d like to dedicate to all the stuff I recently got in Sephora as a gift for myself. As my birthday is quickly approaching I wanted to treat myself and let myself a little loose in the make up and skincare wonderland. In each post I’ll review one of the products I got.

This time I would like to tell you how I find the free birthday gift from Sephora.

Well… first of all I was pretty excited about it! Free gift? For me?? I saw in the email: “Sephora blush”?! Yes, please!

My excitement very quickly disappeared when I swatched colors on my hand. The peach one is ok. Quite nice color I was missing in my make up collection (I always go for pink shades). On my hand it looked really natural, because even though the shade is very orange toned, it’s not strongly pigmented. The pink blush though wasn’t pigmented at all! Huge disappointment! I could barely see it on my pale hand even when I strongly rubbed my finger on blush to get some product on.

Well… I hope the next year’s gift will be good enough to wear and enjoy!

How about you guys? Did you ever got a Sephora present for your birthday? What was it and did you like it? I’m really curious about your experiences! 🙂

Korres Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial – Sephora Birthday Haul

As my birthday is quickly approaching I wanted to treat myself and let myself a little loose in the make up and skincare wonderland. In each post I’ll review one of the products I got.

I usually try to look for any discounts when I’m going to buy something more luxurious (read: not drugstore makeup and skincare products). Luckily in the prefect time I got an email that this week I can get 20% off everything with my black Sephora card. Well, you could only imagine how happy and excited I was!

Korres Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial

6

For a long time I was searching for a perfect moisturizer. Mostly I was using the ones that my dermatologist suggested for my skin. Usually it was something from La Roche Posay brand since I had some brake outs on my skin. Then it started to get better but also I felt like it got drier and drier. Nothing, even Physiogel wasn’t enough to nourish and moisturize my skin. Then I tried CLINIQUE Moisture Surge Intense For Very Dry To Dry Combination Skin because I really loved the sample I once got. First I felt it was helping but after some time my skin didn’t feel much different.

Then I went for my BD Sephora splurge and one of the lovely ladies working there shared her favourite moisturizer with me. I’ve heard a lot good things about Korres brand and always wanted to try it and when I finally try this mask on my hand I loved it! The subtle scent of rose and the creamy but very light formula got me from the start! The most amazing part of it is that it’s a night mask, but you just apply it as a normal moisturizer (so not too thick, it will still do its magic, believe me!) and sleep in it. Just after the first night I felt a huge difference with my skin! It felt super moisturized, fresh, soft and it was glowing! I could even see that few of my hyper pigmentations were gone! What also pursued me to buy this mask was the fact it’s mostly made from natural ingredients!

I really love it a lot and I’m so happy with it (as with my Dior Lip scrub!) Cannot recommend it enough!

And what is your favourite moisturizer? Share with me in the comments!

Dior Lip Sugar Scrub – Sephora Birthday Haul

I always used to look up the products that I’d like to try or do a little research before purchasing anything from a make up range. This time though I had only one product on mind that I knew I couldn’t leave the store without:

DIOR Lip Sugar Scrub, Sweet Exfoliating Balm

4

This lip scrub has been on my mind since the first time I saw it on Dior’s Instagram feed. The thought it would leave the lips with gorgeous pink shade after gently exfoliating it with its sweet sugary formula sounded more than perfect for me. Then I saw Sammi (my favourite youtuber/blogger whom I adore) saying she loves it and I knew I need it. NOW!

When I tried it I was in love! First I felt it was a little bit hard on my lips but as soon as the texture on top of the balm slightly dissolved it felt amazing. It really left my lips feeling super moisturised, nourished and beautifully pink! If you still not sure if to try it just look at the packaging! It feels so, so luxurious and it’s Dior!

I am really glad I got it because since the first use it instantly became my favourite lip balm/scrub!

I know it’s definitely on the pricey side of the lip balm range ($33 in Sephora), but if you feel like treating yourself and you were looking for a good product like this you won’t regret it!
